Phone Scams
Phone scams are becoming more and more common, especially ones targeting older people.
Hang up if you feel unsure
If a call makes you feel unsure, because someone asks you for information or urges you to do or buy something, the simplest thing is to just hang up.
Don't give out personal information over the phone.
If someone calls and asks for personal or bank details, don't give them out. Legitimate organisations rarely ask for this over the phone.
Don't use BankID because someone else asks you to.
Only use BankID to identify yourself to services you yourself planned to use. Otherwise scammers may use your identity for something else.
